One of these varieties is Lyubasha. More characteristics and description of the variety will be disclosed in this article.

Variety description

This variety was bred by breeders from the Partner company. Literally in the first few years after its introduction, he gained recognition among farmers. The Lyubasha variety is a hybrid, therefore it gives consistently high yields.

Tomatoes of this variety are not suitable for propagation, so you will have to purchase new seeds every year.

Its peculiarity is that it is resistant to cold and heat. The hybrid is characterized by early ripening, and the fruits have a pleasant taste.

The culture begins to bear fruit 70-80 days after you see the first green shoots in the ground.

Appearance of plants

Tomato Lyubasha f1 determinant. This means that the bushes are limited in height. Each bush grows up to a meter. Thanks to strong stems, the fruits hold securely on the bushes. About 5 fruit tassels are formed on each plant. There are few leaves on the bushes. They are small in size and dark green in color.

The fruits are small. The weight of each of them is about 130 g. They have a rounded, slightly flattened shape. There is a slight ribbing. The skin is smooth, with a glossy sheen. When technical ripeness occurs, the fruits have a light green tint.

When fully ripe, they acquire a bright red tone. The flesh has a pink tint. She’s pretty juicy.

Inside the fruit there are several chambers with seeds. However, there are few seeds inside.

Advantages and disadvantages of the variety

Despite the fact that the Lyubasha variety has appeared recently, its main advantages and disadvantages can already be noted.

The main advantages include:

early fruiting;
high yields – about 2-4 kg of fruits are harvested from each bush (depending on the place of cultivation);
resistance to negative environmental factors and a sharp change in temperature;

Features of planting and growing

Despite the fact that the Lyubasha tomato is characterized by early ripening, cultivation is carried out using seedlings.

Seeds can be planted in the ground only in the southern regions of the country. The timing of planting seed for seedlings depends on the region (February to March). More details about the main features of planting and growing will be discussed below.

Preparation of seedlings

To sow seeds, follow these instructions:

Prepare containers. These can be flower pots, cassettes, plastic cups or peat tablets. You can also use polyethylene bags.

Water the soil with warm water.
Make small holes in the ground and place the seeds inside. The optimal depth is 1 cm. If you sow the seeds using the row method, keep a distance of 3 cm. You can also sow the seeds in separate glasses, deepening 2 seeds into each of them.
Cover the containers with cling film and place in a warm place with good ventilation.

When the first shoots appear, remove the shelter. After 2 weeks, place the containers in a cooler place where the temperature is kept around +20°C. Make sure that the seedlings have 12-hour daylight hours. If necessary, illuminate the plants with lamps. Watering should be done once a week. After the appearance of the second leaf, pick the seedlings. To do this, choose larger pots – about 1 ml.

Particular attention should be paid to the process of preparing seedlings. First you need to turn it with disinfectants to prevent the development of diseases.

The most popular method for processing tomato Lyubushka is a manganese solution. You need to fill them with seedlings, and leave for a few minutes. Then rinse the plants under running water.

Landing

After 45 days from the moment the first shoots appear, you can start transplanting seedlings into open ground. Often, 3-4 pairs of leaves have already been formed on the bushes, and the height of the plant is about 25 cm. High-quality seedlings should have the first flower brush.

You need to start planting when there are no frosts at night. Better – at the end of May. Plant seedlings in areas that are well lit by sunlight. The soil can be any. Before planting, fertilizer should be poured into each hole to provoke an increase in green mass.

However, urea or organic components should be avoided, as they negatively affect the formation of fruits. Give preference to potassium salts or wood ash.

When landing, adhere to the optimal scheme. A distance of 35 cm should be maintained between the bushes. That is, no more than 1 bushes are located per 2 m6. After planting, tie the bushes to a support to prevent them from deforming.

Plant Care

Tomatoes of the Lyubasha variety are unpretentious in care.

However, there are a few things to keep in mind, including:

Ready-made preparations are suitable as fertilizers.

Collection and post-harvest use

Harvesting can be done in late June or early July. Given that the fruits ripen together, you can collect them with brushes.

Storage of fruits is carried out in a dark room, where the temperature is kept from +10°C to +12°C. The room must have a good ventilation system. If harvested unripe, they can be stored for about 2 months. Ripe tomatoes lie up to 30 days.
