Veal benefits and harms

How is veal useful for young children and seriously ill patients? Due to the set of B vitamins, minerals that make up the chemical composition of veal, as well as its easy digestibility, it does not overload the digestive tract, helps to restore mucous membranes, and also improves the activity of the nervous system.

Veal, the composition of which is considered dietary, is practically the only type of meat that can be consumed by patients suffering from digestive disorders. The benefit of veal is that it increases the acidity of the digestive tract, but at the same time helps to improve appetite and more active bowel function.

Harmful properties

Veal, whose useful properties are so diverse, practically does not bring harm. Veal contains neither cholesterol, nor fat, nor coarse fibers, nor does it contain the ability to increase the acidity of gastric juice. The only harm to veal is the release of a certain amount of nitrogenous substances – nitrates and nitrites – into the broth during cooking. However, if this broth itself is not eaten, then any negative consequences can be avoided.

In addition, gout and deep stages of arthritis are contraindications to the use of veal – some salts formed during the digestion of meat can be deposited in the joints, exacerbating the symptoms of these diseases.

And one more thing: veal meat in most cases is obtained from young dairy bulls – it is more logical to feed the heifers to get milk. And when undercooked or undercooked, this veal meat can retain the flavor characteristic of gobies. Therefore, when preparing dishes, act in full accordance with the recipe, and then you will definitely like the taste and smell of the treat.
