• not susceptible to damage
• smooth oval tubers with a smooth skin
ripening period: | early, germination possible, good development of tops |
tuber shape: | oval tubers with light smooth skin |
pulp color: | yellow |
nutritional properties: | type of cooking B, low tendency to black spot, good taste |
yield: | number of tubers large to medium, uniform tubers |
soil requirements | medium, deep fit recommended |
storage suitability | very good, does not germinate for a long time |
susceptibility to disease | to virus Y – very resistant, medium resistance to decay of foliage, to scab – good resistance, to cancer – resistant, to nematode: resistant to Ro 1 and Ro 4, to black leg – good resistance, weak susceptibility to internal defects of the tuber. |
RIKEA – RIKEA
RIKEYA is an early table variety.
Nematode resistant.
It is necessary to germinate, gives high yields, nicely shaped tubers and at the same time has good storageability.
Till spring, a consistently good taste remains with proper storage. Admitted 1984.
Ripening period: | early (group B), uniform good shoots, strong hardy tops |
Tuber shape: | round-oval, long-oval, uniform and beautiful, with not deep eyes |
Pulp color: | yellow, clean, does not darken |
Tuber yield: | high, very high with appropriate grading |
Soil requirements: | low to medium, favorable harmonious fertilization |
Nutritional properties: | type of cooking B, mainly non-crumbly with a pleasant rich taste, very good taste, with a low – medium content of nitrates |
Storage suitability: | low sensitivity to damage, easy to clean, long dormant period, germination is recommended before planting |
Susceptibility to disease | to leaf-rolling virus – very susceptible, very weakly susceptible to U and A viruses, susceptible to decay of the tops, rotting of tubers – from a small to medium degree, diseases of the base and scab – susceptible to insignificant to moderate |
SANDRIN-SANDRIN

Nutritional properties: | cooking type B, about 19,5% dry matter, very slight browning after cooking |
Productivity: | very high, many large tubers |
Recyclability: | table |
Storage suitability | good, very weak susceptibility to mechanical damage and weak susceptibility to black spot |
Susceptibility to disease | nematode – resistant to Ro 1 and Ro 4 very resistant to Y virus, susceptible to leaf-rolling virus, very slight susceptibility to rotting of tubers very weak susceptibility to rotting of foliage medium susceptibility to scab medium resistance, tuber defects – weak susceptibility, insignificant susceptibility to glandular spot |
SERAFINA – SERAFINA
SERAFINA is an early table variety with good keeping quality.
Admitted 1996
Terms of maturation | early good development vegetative mass at an early stage with medium tops development |
Tuber shape: | aligned, elongated-oval, beautifully shaped, with shallow eyes, smooth skin, very stable shape |
Pulp color: | light yellow, clean, not stained |
Productivity: | medium to high, medium sized uniform tubers |
Soil requirements: | average |
Nutritional properties: | type of cooking A-B, non-boiling, with a delicate taste. Very good palatability even during long-term storage |
Storage suitability | stable dormancy period, therefore very suitable for long-term storage, it is strongly recommended to germinate before planting |
Susceptibility to diseases: | medium to leaf roll virus, to Y virus – resistant, susceptible to leaf roll virus, medium susceptibility to decay of foliage and scab, slight internal defects, especially resistant to rhizoctonia and damage |
