Fighting cocks

And there are those who are looking at buying not hens, but roosters. This is mainly done by cockfighting fans who raise their feathered pets and send them to the “ring”.

The most popular breed of fighting chickens is Azil. Their main distinguishing feature is their aggressive nature. However, in addition to their genetic data, these birds need proper nutrition and, of course, regular training to keep them in shape.

In the diet of fighting cocks, there must be compound feed, greens, in which there is a lot of protein, namely: nettle, lettuce, onion feathers, dandelions. You can also use meat and bone and fish and bone meal. A very useful product for fighting cocks will be nuts, meat and liver mixed with grain. Adult males need to increase the amount of wheat fed. All these feeds have a beneficial effect on the growth and muscles of the bird, strengthen feathers and legs. Fighting cocks are distinguished by poor plumage, a strong beak and neck, dense muscles, they are ankle-length, fleshy, strong.

In addition to the Azil breed, other breeds of fighting cocks are also distinguished: Indian, Belgian, Ko Shamo, Modern English, Old English, Tuzo, Vietnamese, Malay, Yamato and others. Any of them have improved and improved their fighting qualities over the years. The roosters became more persistent, gained more and more will to win and a thirst to survive.
