Celandine benefit and harm

For the production of medicinal products, the juice of celandine stems is used. It contains a large amount of alkaloids (more than 20%), tannins and resinous substances, histamine, carotene, phenol carboxylic acids. The composition of celandine seeds contains from 40 to 70% fatty oils, as well as lipase.

Application in medicine

Of the dosage forms, infusion, decoction, ointment based on celandine juice and the juice itself in various concentrations are used. Bearing in mind that this useful plant is still poisonous, it should be noted that the maximum daily dose of celandine for an adult is 1 teaspoon per 1 glass of boiling water. And in no case can this dose of infusion be applied at one time – it must be stretched for 5-7 doses throughout the day. Celandine juice is extremely poisonous, so its pure application on the skin is also not recommended. When using juice, it should be applied strictly in the indicated dosages and only locally, pointwise to the affected areas, strictly following the instructions.

And if taken orally in homeopathic doses, there is a chance even to prevent the development of cancer and stop the development of cancer cells.

Use the beneficial properties of celandine. Be healthy!
