Breeding and care

So that the animal does not get sick, brings good milk yield and simply pleases the breeder, follow these rules of care:

  • Habitat. Goats need warmth and comfort, so there should be no drafts and dampness in the barn. Permissible humidity limit – 75%. Bring the windows to the south, the height from the floor is 1,5 m. In winter, maintain the temperature at +5 degrees, in summer +19 degrees. Cover the adobe platform with peat, top with sawdust and straw. In the warm season, remove manure regularly so that the infection does not multiply. In winter, regular cleaning is not necessary, it is better to keep warm for the goats.
  • Goat keeping. For sustainable immunity, include green food with vitamins and valuable microelements in the Gulabi diet. Graze goats in fields and forests, avoid walking in swamps, backwaters. Dampness and drafts in pastures worsen the health of the animal, the goat can get sick or even die. Animals love light and warmth, so provide them with decent living conditions, and Gulabis will be well milked.
  • Pet care. Brush Pakistani goats daily. The coat is short, soft, so there will be no difficulties. To prevent the goat from becoming infected with lice, once a week, treat the soft wool with a warm soda solution. Clean the hooves from dirt after each pasture, otherwise the pink skin will become inflamed.
  • Feeding. Be sure to include straw, root crops, hay, silage, animal feed, fresh vegetables in the Gulabi diet. Useful for the animal crushed bran, corn, oats, barley, oak and birch brooms. Feedback

Viktor, 42 years old, farmer, Krasnodar. I have already bought young kids Gulabi. Their appearance is funny, sinister, but by nature they are kind and not mischievous. I got teenagers 6 months old. He settled them in a barn, the main thing is that there should be a place without drafts. At first they were shy when I came to feed, then they got used to it, they even rejoiced at my visits. In food illegible, they drink a lot. It is very important that there is always water in the feeders. I combed not every day, it did not get worse. Daily milk yield – 1-1,5 liters. Maria, 45 years old, teacher, Vitebsk. Goats are good and give a lot of milk. Up to 2 liters per day. I noticed that he has an unusual taste, with nutty notes or something. Milk is fat, satisfying, and most importantly, healthy. My grandson loves it very much. And the goats themselves are playful, friendly, but obedient. I take them out to the pasture, they behave quietly, they love fresh air. I have 2 goats, I plan to breed. There are no problems with care, but this breed is rare, highly valued.

Gulabi goats are unpretentious animals that give healthy milk, tender meat and simply bring a smile to their appearance. Before buying this breed, carefully weigh the pros and cons. The animal is not cheap, it needs care and attention. Only in this case you can get a rich milk yield.
