How to plant onions in a pot

First it is important to know that the onion can be reproduced in bulbs or by seeds.

– Bulb: to reproduce the onion by the bulb, you must carry out the process of replanting the base of the onion. Cut off the underside of each bulb, i.e. where the roots come out, and bury it. It is necessary to have fertile land, aerated and quite humid. Water the soil daily until it starts to sprout.

Once you see that the bud has started to appear, it is necessary to keep the soil moist and the pot with sunlight for at least 7 hours a day. While the plant, the bulb is growing, you can consume the green leaves – they need to be at least 10 centimeters from the rooted bulb.

The math for planting onions by bulb works as follows: for each bulb planted you will have another 3 for consumption.

– Seeds: you can buy the seeds at the farm in your city or, if you already have onion plants, you must release the flower stem and let the seeds mature.

Then just sow, water, and soon you’ll have new onion plants to use.
