The young horse Sardar set a record in Russia by running 1,5 km in 1,5 minutes. All champions belong to the Thoroughbred horse breed. These horses were specially bred for racing.
Only wealthy people can buy a thoroughbred riding horse at auctions, but these horses require special care, so they are not suitable for amateurs. Animals need constant training. The fastest horses are used in various equestrian sports, including triathlon. Representatives of the breed that have not been selected for participation in the races are most often used to improve the athletic and exterior characteristics of other breeds.
