Through such a device, it is possible to form even grooves, and then send a uniform number of seeds into them. These specimens are used not only for sowing carrot planting material. The manual devices under consideration are also suitable for planting beets, parsley, onions, lettuce and other small seeds.

The grooves are formed by the movements of the wheel. On the latter, special spikes or blades are installed. With these components, the wheel makes the necessary holes of a specific size and the same depth.

It is through this spout that a specific volume of seeds is sown. The supply of the latter is carried out through a special valve.

Behind manual structures, one more wheel is usually provided, which has a smooth surface. While moving, it falls asleep and rams holes with carrot planting materials.

This seeder model looks like a plastic container. Typically, the container has a cylindrical structure. It is in it that the material for planting is placed. At the bottom there is an adjustable hole for sowing seedlings directly into the ground. In the upper part of the unit under consideration, a piston part with a spring is installed.

The funnel is fixed above the soil layer at a height of up to 15 cm, after which the device is gently shaken. Seeds, rolling along the chute, are evenly laid out in the grooves. Using this version of the planter, the farmer can easily achieve neat grooves, in which there will not be a large number of seeds.

This planter model is distinguished by a simple and uncomplicated device. It is made of a wooden bar measuring 5x5x50 cm, as well as plastic covers. On one side of such a product, covers are screwed at short intervals. In operation, bar devices are very simple and convenient.

Use the device from the bar should be as follows.

1. First, level the ground with an even part.
2. The surface on which the covers are fixed is lowered into the soil, firmly pressed.
3. Then the bar is lifted. At the place where the covers were exposed, characteristic recesses should remain in the ground.
4. Seed material is placed in the formed holes.

For sowing carrots, this type of device is also perfect. The principle of its operation is in many respects similar to the wooden bar discussed above. To make a convenient mini-rake, it is enough to prepare the following materials:

• wood plank or board;
• a piece of wood about 20 cm long;
• hacksaw or jigsaw.

1. The rake is placed in the ground. Before that, it needs to be thoroughly plowed and loosened.
2. Further, the structure is led along the land layer. Due to this, regular and neat furrows of equal depth will be created.
3. Carrot seeds should be placed in the formed grooves.

Through such specimens, it is possible not only to plant carrot seeds, but also to process, loosen the soil, and add top dressing to it. The minimum set of functions is typical for the simplest manual seeders. In such devices there are not many additional options.
• Adjustment options. Choosing the optimal model of the planter, you should understand its adjustment capabilities. If we consider manual models, then there are not a large number of adjustments and independent settings. Automated devices provide the ability to adjust many parameters: the farmer can, at his discretion, change the size of the holes, the depth of immersion of seedlings, and so on.
