To draw attention to the flower garden at the summer cottage or near the house, you can arrange flower beds of extraordinary beauty with your own hands. This will require old unnecessary tires and some free time.
Flower garden inside the bus
To create such a flower garden, we need:
- car tire;
- drill;
- waterproof paint;
- thick rope.
Let’s start creating our makeshift flower garden.
The first step is to clean the tire from dirt and grease. Then we cover it with waterproof paint, you can use one or several colors. Let the tire dry.
Take a drill and drill a hole in the bottom of the tire. It is necessary to ensure the outflow of excess fluid.
Next, we take a rope (make sure that it can withstand not only the weight of the tire itself, but also the earth, drainage and flowers) and wrap the future flower garden using a knot or loop. Hang it up where there is sufficient sunlight.
Prepare your chosen plants for transplanting. Climbing flowers and hanging plants work best. Lay a drainage layer consisting of stones or rubble, fill in the earth.
Now you can start planting plants. In one such flower garden, you can collect several types of plants at once – you get an incredibly beautiful flower bed.
Flowerbed with petals
Such a flower bed will not cause any special difficulties in manufacturing. All you need is a tire, knife, chalk, paint and thinner.
First, you need to make notes in the places where we will cut the petals. You can use a knife or chalk for this. When starting to cut, select the thinnest spot on the splint. This will make the process easier.
After the petals have been cut out, we proceed to turning the tire to the wrong side. If you do this, then the petals will beautifully diverge in different directions. This process can take some effort and is therefore not necessary.
It’s time to paint. But before that, we will clean the surface of dirt and grease. Then the paint will lay down smoother and last much longer. Any paint that is waterproof will do. You can purchase white paint and various dyes so that you can create the colors and shades you want. For mixing, it is best to use a simple cut-necked plastic bottle.
If you’re going to use a makeshift flower as a flower bed, you can save paint by leaving the inside of the tire intact. But if the device is intended for other household needs, then for greater aesthetics it will not be superfluous to paint over the entire surface.
When the paint is completely dry, we proceed to decorate the outside of the flower bed. For an even pattern, it is better to use a stencil. It can be printed or drawn. Then cut with simple scissors. We apply the resulting stencil to the future flower bed and carefully paint over with a brush. For a faster process, you can use a sponge or a piece of foam rubber.
When the product is completely dry, you can start planting flowers.
Flower-shaped flower bed
This option will require a little more material and effort than the previous two. This time we need:
- 4 wheels for creating petals and one more for decorating the core;
- paint of different colors;
- saw;
- knife;
- everything you need to decorate the garden: land, flowers, fertilizer, and more.
We take 4 wheels. We cut each of them into two equal parts. We clean and paint in your favorite colors. Let it dry properly.
As a core, we use a tire (on which we cut out the petals with a knife), painted in red or yellow (this is the shade most similar to the core of a flower). And we also leave it for a while until it dries completely.
Let’s start decorating the flower bed. We spread the halves of the tires in a circle, trying to give the shape of a chamomile. We fall asleep with earth all the inner space of an impromptu flower, you need to fill it to the very edges. On top of the ground, exactly in the center, we put the core bus.
This version of the flower bed will accommodate much more plants, but more space will be required.
Whichever of the three options you choose, your personal plot or a small garden near a house in the city will attract the attention of every passer-by.
