American chicken breeds

The weight of laying hens reaches two kilograms, roosters – up to three kilograms. In hens, the plumage color is darker than in roosters. The eye color of California gray chickens is red-brown. Their back is quite wide, and the chest is slightly convex and very powerful, the body is elongated. Like all other breeds, these birds quickly get used to new conditions and a new climate. They eat almost everything, they have a great appetite. Almost all chickens after hatching from eggs survive, they are strong, grow quickly and gain weight.
